Our President’s Day weekend was filled with so much fun. We met in North Carolina with our husbands to visit, hike and take pictures. Laurie found us a really nice Air B&B cabin to stay in. It was perfect for a weekend getaway! We looked for a place that was about half way between Ohio and Tallahassee and Brevard ended up being the place!
The porch was spacious and even though it was chilly it was nice to sit outside and have some morning coffee. I even watched a couple of deer eating in the yard first shortly after sunrise. Being from Ohio the 50 degree temps were balmy compared to the 15 degrees we came home to! The rental was in Brevard, North Carolina and was in a great location for some sightseeing. It was also out of town enough to be super quiet and peaceful too. It had everything we needed to be comfy and we brought enough food for a small army to eat including lots of treats.
There were two bedrooms which gave us more than enough room. Just look at that beautiful view of the woods from the upstairs window!
This was the living room area and there was also a dining room area as well as a full kitchen and 1 1/2 baths. It was just awesome, and our host could not have been kinder. Everything was well maintained and ready for us when we got there. We had one small problem and as soon as the host was notified he came out to fix it so that our stay would be great. We couldn’t have asked for more.
This is a link to the getaway cabin we stayed in if you would like to check it out! We would highly recommend it!
